[the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Supervise final year undergraduate project students and postgraduate Honours, Masters and PhD students; Conduct research as a member of a research group in the Department and publish in leading accredited journals; Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the Department; Raise and manage additional funding from national and international funding agencies and industry to support the activities of the relevant research group; Perform assigned departmental duties (e.g. of an administrative nature). Expand existing research programmes or initiate new research programmes; Job Requirements: A Masters’ degree in Engineering that follows on the previous qualification; Same as for Senior Lecturer, plus; A record of previous undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience, including supervision of Masters and/or Doctoral students; A PhD degree in Engineering that follows on the previous qualification; Expertise and research experience in one or more of the specialist areas of the research groups in the Department; A proven research record supported by publications in high quality peer reviewed journals; A BEng degree from a university of which the undergraduate programme is recognised by the Washington accord or is recognised by ECSA to be equivalent; A well-establish and nationally recognised research record supported by publications in high quality peer reviewed journals.
