Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
- Individual player skills development and personalised coaching.
- Attendance of rugby workshops and related skills master classes
- Develop marketing campaigns to promote teams and sport events.
- Ensure that individuals representing his/her team play according to the rules and regulations of the game and the facility
- Team preparation for Varsity Cup, Young Guns, Varsity 7’s, USSA and PGC
- Manage recruitment, performance, training and supervising of teams
- Notify manager on any emergencies and/or any serious player injuries and complete incident report form
- Ensure that student-athletes undergo physical evaluation, treatment and assistance at sporting events.
- Ensure that the club recruits 70% Quality players. Build relationships with schools and offer specialised coaching clinics.
- Continuous interaction with Manager and other stakeholders
- Managing of Varsity Cup Coaching Staff and Club Coaches.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to use a high degree of initiative and sound judgement.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Boksmart certified.
- Relations with Sport Federations, Rugby Unions and Schools.
- Three (3) year experience in professional rugby coaching.
- Team Player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree/ B. Tech or equivalent qualification.
- Driver’s license.
- Three (3) year experience in Varsity Cup Coaching structure.
- IRB level 2 Coaching. IRB level 3 Coaching would be an advantage.
- Excellent people skills
- Excellent computer skills in Windows and MS Office.
- A qualification in management studies would be an advantage.
- Five (5) years related experience in Coaching.
