Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the driver network and address critical escalations
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure compliance to SLA measures and track success of optimization changes
- Manage Franchise owners escalations
- Project manage new hub openings and relocations
- Analyse data to determine trends and areas of optimisation in driver performance and system logic
- Assist in hub sales and hub repossessions.
- Direct supervision of a team of Franchise Managers to ensure operational success of the Franchise Network within the region
- Measure and report on the day to day performance of the last mile delivery platform within the Gauteng region
- Train and empower Franchise Managers to implement new processes and policies
- Manage the execution of new processes and developments within the Gauteng region of the Franchise Network.
- Assess risk, anticipate bottlenecks, and make trade-offs to balance business needs versus technical constraints
- Determine root-causes of SLA performance failures through data analysis and on-site inspections if required
- Partner with Franchisees and their respective Franchise Managers to continuously define and improve upon SOPs
- Ensure the most effective use of resources and technologies
Job Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify trends in data
- Being IT or Tech Savvy will be advantageous.
- Able to prioritise and work under pressure
- Very organized and professional at all times
- 5 Years experience with managing Franchisees
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to Influence internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders at various levels
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Logistics, Supply Chain, Operational Management) is advantageous
- Experience in a logistics environment would be to your advantage
- Proven track record in delivery and execution
- Applied knowledge in Word, Excel & Powerpoint
- High energy, self-starter
- Self-motivated, self-monitoring & self-disciplined
- Experience within a diverse corporate environment advantageous
- Experience in an e-commerce environment would be to your advantage
- Strong Operational and project management
- Pro-active, takes own initiative
- Previous experience in the logistics / Supply Chain is advantageous
- Adaptable to change
- Ability to motivate for change in the best interests of the business
- 3+ Years of Management Experience
- Analytical Thinker
- Previous Business owner or Senior Management experience is advantageous
