Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that relevant employee documentation to SAP / Payroll is checked prior to processing through Time Management. (Transfer forms, change in rate / acting forms, all forms that require employee / organisational structure changes on SAP)
  • Following up on transactions effected
  • Complete & ensure correctness of all documents i.e. acting allowance / rate change, transfers, leave forms, terminations, exit interviews, etc.
  • Capture necessary data onto relevant systems and continuously ensure that systems are updated (i.e. Org. maintenance and ER transactions)
  • Ensure that administration requirements are complied with
  • Ensure that accurate labour records are maintained
  • Coordinate performance assessment process for promotions where applicable.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data capturing and keeping.
  • Ensure safe record keeping of employee information.
  • Facilitate processes regarding all terminations, e.g.: Deaths, retirements, DIA, disciplinary discharge, resignation, medical, disablement etc.
  • Supply data and compile Human Capital reports: daily, weekly, monthly & annually

Job Requirements:

  • Good understanding of facilitating dispute resolution and good work related behaviour
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation (BCEA, EEA, LRA, SDA, OHSA, OIDA)
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office, Symplexity, AS 400)
  • Good administrative and statistical skills
  • Knowledge of HR and ER practices, standards, procedures and policies
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Able to enter working areas to provide effective and continuous services and support
  • Knowledge of mining or manufacturing industry
  • Good report writing skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or Adult Senior Certificate)
  • At least 2 years experience in a Human Resources or Time Management related role within the mining environment.
  • Studying towards a recognised tertiary qualification in HR will be advantageous
