Job Description:
You will analyse existing business strategies and practices and provide recommendations for improvements. The role also focuses on strategic and operational issues and decisions to enable the business to deliver its strategic objectives. The role further provides day to day suppor to the CEO in organising, establishing, and refining the day-to-day operations within the business
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor and control business strategy budget
- Measure MiWay’s performance monthly
- Identify issues that could hinder MiWay’s capacity to accomplish its objectives and offer risk-reduction strategies
- Keeping updated with technologies and customer behaviours
- Conducting research on new technologies that could have a significant impact on the organisation’s operations
- Identify areas for improvement across the business and develop business cases for change
- Creating a plan for the organisation, including long-term and short-term goals
- Conduct ad-hoc research projects in support of the development and growth of MiWay
- Create operational strategies to guarantee effective utilisation of corporate resources while attaining business objectives
- Contributing to business development and digital innovation
- Drive analysis and design business models linked to the strategy
- Developing and implementing plans to improve employee productivity and morale
- Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to operationalise the strategic pillars to execute the objectives and strategy
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Honours in Finance/Business Management or equivalent
- Background experience in Finance/Strategy/Insurance (Advantageous)
- In depth understanding of designing business models
- Master’s Degree (Advantageous)
- Experience in Research and Data Analytics
- 3 – 6 years’ experience in similar role
