Job Description:

Management and servicing of Envoy client base (high-net worth individuals) direct personal lines insurance client portfolios.
The Service Consultant needs to ensure that there is a balance between the company’s business priorities, which includes growth and client retention, whilst adhering to the insurance needs of clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Underwriting on multi claimants/high loss ratio clients
• Maintaining and improving agreed client service levels
• Maintaining and building client relationships
• Identifying cross selling opportunities and provide leads
• Credit control/Unpaid Debit Orders/Account Queries
• Processing of Renewals
• Day to Day management/assistance to clients and ensuring portfolio profitability
• Delivering excellent client service
• Thorough knowledge of short-term insurance products
• Assist clients with claim forms and queries
• Growing current client portfolio
• Servicing of dedicated client portfolios
• Retention of current client portfolio

Job Requirements:

• FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5)
• Negotiation skills
• Must have – Drivers license and own vehicle
• Problem solving skills
• Extensive knowledge of the Short-Term Insurance Industry
• FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010, a full recognised qualification as per the FSCA qualification list.
• Thorough understanding of insurance products
• Must have – a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Servicing (Short Term Insurance)
• 18 CPD (continuous professional development) points for anyone working with two lines of business and KI’s.
• Matric/Grade 12
• Ability to handle conflict
• Must have – Experience servicing HNW (high-net worth individuals) client base desirable
• Thorough understanding of business principles and Practices
• Interpersonal Skills
