Job Description: To ensure a safe, positive patient experience by supporting the unit manager in the co-ordination of patient care and management of the unit [the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Ensure optimal supply, retention and utilisation of staffing resources Manage the patient experience Ensure comprehensive and safe patient care by mitigating risks and meeting set clinical quality standards Empower and build staff competence through continuous assessment and development Assist with the effective management of operational expenses (including stock and capital) Job Requirements: Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols Scientific nursing principles and process Relevant nursing legislation Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Scope of practice for nurse practitioners For specialised wards; ACLS; ATLS; PALS trained; Nursing processes and procedures Qualification & Experience: Degree/ Diploma in General Nursing. 3 years post qualification experience Midwifery; Post graduate certificate/ diploma in speciality area.
