Job Description:

To lead and assist artisan, utility man and trainees to maintain plant equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend team meetings
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities as per regulation, plans and procedures
• Supervise, co-ordinate and control allocated team activities
• Conduct quality control inspections and investigate recurring defects
• Attend to personnel safety and equipment caring
• Address day-to-day technical issues
• Render on-the-job training and support

Job Requirements:

• Supervision of plant and people
• Team player, mentoring and authorised coaching
• 4 years technical services experience (incl. 2yres Apprenticeship)
• Grade 12/N3 and Trade Test
• Communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and regulations; and plant and employee safety and health
• Computer literacy
• Plant Safety Regulation (PSR) authorisation
