Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Resident Humanities/History Teacher for Year 8 to A Levels (Humanities & History) to start Term-3 (August 2025). Senior Resident teachers lead instruction and planning for subject or grade level classrooms and are responsible for driving a rigorous, enquiry-based learning environment the Nova Pioneer way. Senior Resident teachers are supported by Deans of Instruction who partner with them in their growth journey – observing lessons, providing feedback and coaching. [the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Communicate regularly with parents through e-mail, telephone and parent-teacher conferences 4Infuse joy and passion for learning into lessons so that students are excited about and invested in their academic excellence Fully participate in opportunities for professional growth including Humanities team meetings and reflections, professional development meetings, Run academic support sessions for your students Lead with growing content/ skills/ assessment competency in apprentice/ junior Humanities teachers Participate in a variety of collaborative teams and committees, fulfill supervision duties as assigned including some morning, evening and weekend events Deliver impactful and engaging enquiry-based lessons supported by technology to enhance instructional deliver I Instructional coaching, and organisation wide learning and reflection Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress.
