Job Description: The role will provide support in the Operational Excellence and Technology Transformation business function in the assessment of opportunity and the roll-out of studies relating to specific technology initiative activities. Undertake the implementation activities required to realise the business strategic plan for investment in technology in the Copper commodity. [the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Preparation of reporting for project activities including schedule and cost tracking. Coordination with assets and internal stakeholders on project task delivery. Engage with Assets for progression of the fleet technology initiatives in line with the Next Generation Fleet Strategy (NGF). Analysis and development of business cases for technology investment. Management of consultant's activities on a day-to-day basis. Support regional and assets teams in the development of fleet technology roadmaps. Engagement of consultants for works initiatives including preparation of scopes, tendering, assessment and award processes. Develop the Africa Fleet Technology initiatives from ideas through to Feasibility. Job Requirements: Ability to travel to sites in DRC (Kolwezi), especially during pilot and full-scale deployment stages for fleet technologies. Advanced English language skills. Qualification & Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, maintenance or functional roles in the mining industry. Bachelor’s Degree in Mining, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Post Graduate in Engineering or Management Sciences (desirable).
