[the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Compilation and coordination of the mines SLP’s, Mining Charter and BBBEE Reports Practical experience of working at site level in developing or developed economies, in a company, consultancy or international development institution. Experience of delivering strategic social management plans for businesses, in line with Anglo Social Way Knowledge of relevant legislative framework that governs the development space with understanding of the SED Principles and framework as in the MPRDA requirements, Mining Charter BBBEEA, Skills Development Act, and other related legislations Be responsible for SLP Consultations towards developments towards development and projects to be implemented in 5-year cycle. Solid understanding and knowledge of socio-economic development and/or local provincial and national development with experience of implementing socio-economic development interventions and understanding of sustainable mining plan Actively be involved in the upliftment and improvement in the community by creating, maintaining, and improving relationships within the communities, traditional authorities, local government, and other relevant stakeholders Job Requirements: Knowledge of contracts management of suppliers within SLP disciplines Knowledge and experience in stakeholder engagements Understanding and experience in financial metrics & budgets Able to monitor benchmarks and identify performance gaps Demonstrated ability to manage projects successfully and/or organisation in complex working environments. Knowledge and experience of working in private and public sectors, experience in the extractives sector (desirable) Qualification & Experience: Relevant project management experience in managing community development projects within the mining or similar industries. Relevant experience in designing and managing social improvement projects, compiling social profiles and social impact assessments. Completed a Bachelors’ Degree in Social Science,: Development Studies, Public Administration, Economics, Anthropology, Social Impact Management or equivalent A minimum of 5 years’ relevant development/social experience with extractive industry external / community relations or similar industries. Relevant experience in facilitating multi-stakeholder engagement sessions.
