[the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Ensure support and monitoring of Municipal Spatial Development Framework development and implementation; Ensure due consideration of spatial planning and land use management as part of efforts to coordinate, integrate and align plans, programmes and projects within Gauteng City Region; Ensure adherence to legal requirements, co-ordinate, evaluate and monitor the implementation of development in compliance with applicable legislation and town and regional planning standards and guidelines; Facilitate and provide technical assistance to professional teams on all aspects, regarding town and regional planning projects; Ensure provision of land-use management expertise and advise across municipal and provincial departments; Ensure the development and successful implementation of the Provincial Spatial Development Framework; Technical consulting, professional judgment and related professional accountability linked to professional registration; Ensure the compilation and adoption of technical and planning standards, norms and guidelines; Ensure support and monitoring of establishment and effective functioning of municipal Land-use management structures; Geographic Information System application in spatial analysis, town planning schemes, etc.).
