Job Description:

The Broker Service Consultant role is to grow and ensure high levels of service offered by Momentum Insure, developing and maintaining good business relaionships with brokers.
Educate these brokers in respect of Momentum Insure Products to ensure that high standards are met and maintained and reduce risks. Introduction of new Momentum Insure Products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Update product knowledge on an ongoing basis
• Review study plan within set time frames through one-on-one sessions with the Branch Manager
• Monitor broker activities through, audits, client feedback
• Build relationship with new brokers and introducing other Momentum Insure Products
• Handle broker queries within SLA’s
• Ensure that amendments to policies are appropriate to existing portfolio
• Maintaining Key Relationships with brokers and staff
• Offer telephonic and e-mail product and procedure support
• Identify trends and market related issues and relay these to the Branch Manager
• Offer product and process information to brokers and their staff
• Build on own continuous professional development
• Offer suggestion on how remain competitive in these markets
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings
• Market new products to brokers
• Ensure adherence to industry qualification requirements are met
• Market MI Retail Products to brokers and introduce BC’s to sign-up appropriate MI Contracts
• Maintain telephonic and e-mail communication with brokers
• Identify opportunities for engagement new brokers

Job Requirements:

• 2 years servicing experience in short term insurance or the financial industry, personal and or commercial insurance
• Matric/Grade 12
• Full qualification – Commercial and or Personal Insurance NQF Level 5 or relevant qualification in field
• 2 year experience in dealing with brokers
• Regulatory exams accredited FAIS requirements – RE 5
