Job Description:
Nothing slips past the Apparel Technologist! They are the technical right hand to the Buyer by approving the quality of samples, as well as make collective decisions with the merchandise team to ensure that all products are produced at high quality levels. The Apparel Technologist plays an important role in establishing and approving the Divisional and Departmental quality standards through the pre-seasonal and pre-production sample approval process. This process provides all stakeholders clarity of what is and can be expected in terms of the final product that will be available to the customer.

- To monitor delivered quality standards via regular store visits.
- To process style quality queries to a satisfactory conclusion, in close communication with TFG Quality Audit Department as well as The Buying Department
- To regularly analyse and report on Quality KPIs
- Ensure accurate capturing of sample assessment outcomes
- To stay abreast of technical developments within the industry.es and formulate budgets.
- Ensure desired level of quality is consistently aligned to the divisional strategy and communicated internally and externally
- To apply product technical knowledge and experience in approving pre-production samples by identifying, recommending (internal) and resolving (external) quality risks thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualification & Experience:
- Have a relevant technical qualification (Degree/ Diploma), ie Clothing Management or Fashion Design
- Have experience in manufacturing and/or the retail environment
- Have a Coral draw or Photoshop course certificate
