Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying, selecting and scheduling corresponding SU courses for each SKEMA academic programme in consultation with the Programme Manager: Semester Mobility;
- Liaising between the SUI -Services Centre, CGE with the students and the SKEMA International Office;
- ESDHEM programme responsibilities: Participating in the organisation of the official Tage2 test session on site, under the direction of the FNEGE;
- Liaising with the SKEMA International Office regarding the application, admission and acceptance processes for SKEMA students via SUNStudent, and monitoring the progress within the two campus structures;
- Ensure the identification of class representatives for each SCHEME academic program, and participate in the meetings for the four programs with the program directors and the representatives;
- Contributing to and taking part in general SU International activities to support internationalisation at an institutional level.
- Arrange a specific SCHEME orientation program at the beginning of each semester, in collaboration with the Coordinator: International Student Life and Success;
- Organising a specific SKEMA orientation programme at the beginning of each semester, in collaboration with the Coordinator: International Student Life and Success;
- Facilitating and encouraging academic integration of SKEMA Business School and SU academic processes for SKEMA students at SU;
- Compile and communicate the examination calendar to SCHEME and the students, and liaise with the SCHEME coordinators to ensure that examinations are synchronized with French campuses where possible and where applicable;
- Ensuring that final grades are communicated to the SKEMA academic coordinators in time for Academic Committees and Juries;
- Developing specific programme class schedules (ESDHEM, BBA, M1, MSc IB);
- Ensuring the identification of class delegates for each SKEMA academic programme, and participating in delegate meetings for the four programmes along with the programme directors;
- Assisting with the applications of SKEMA students to SU in coordination with the Programme Manager: Semester Mobility;
- Encouraging student participation on campus to ensure full student integration on the SU campus;
- Ensure that the final marks are communicated to the SCHEME academic coordinators in time for the mark evaluation by the committees and the juries;
- ESDHEM responsibilities: Participation in the organization of the official Tage2 test on campus under the guidance of FNEGE;
- Collating and communicating the examination calendar to SKEMA and the students, and liaising with SKEMA coordinators to ensure that exams are synchronised with French campuses whenever possible and where applicable;
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to work with groups and speak in front of people;
- Attention to detail, the ability to manage a large amount of information, and excellent time management skills;
- Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills;
- Proven computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet);
- Knowledge of student support services on campus.
- Experience in administrative support in a higher education environment;
- Strong, systematic organizational skills and the ability to work in a team, as well as under pressure;
- Strong, systematic organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team and under pressure;
- Knowledge of the student support services on campus.
- Relevant experience in project and event management;
- The ability to take initiative, exercise judgement, solve problems and work accurately and in a timely manner with minimal supervision;
- Experience in administrative support within the higher education environment;
- Interest in personal upskilling and open to learning new things;
- Business Proficiency in French;
- Three years experience in international education or higher education;
- Proven ability to work with groups and to speak in front of people;
- The ability to take initiative, exercise judgment, solve problems, work accurately, and complete tasks with minimal supervision;
- General Bachelor’s degree;
- Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills;
- Knowledge of and experience with the use of the University’s administrative and financial systems;
- An interest in global affairs and higher education beyond South Africa.
- Three years’ experience in international education or higher education;
