Job Description:
Accountable for delivery of Credit Solutions (which includes lifecycle management and maintenance of multiple solutions) – for Account Origination, Account Manegament, Collections and Business Credit. Owns the vision and definition of the Credit Solution, as well as all credit targets (customer, financial and operational) at solution level and alignment thereof to Standard Bank targets. To lead a multi-disciplinary and multi-skilled team to deliver the target state credit solution (i.e. assessment of the current state, re-imagine the future, build solutions, scaling of solutions and maintenance thereof).
Job Requirements:
- More than 10 years experience in managing a credit portfolio. Understanding of credit principles, processes and systems. Exposure to analysing data and information in solving strategic credit problems. Leadership role within the Personal and Business banking environment. Experience in analytical work, ideally in Credit Risk. Experience in the implementation and deployment of credit data structure, credit risk models and credit strategies.
- 8-10 years experience in managing products, delivering business value, managing teams, managing product lifecycle, managing IT projects. Experience in business and value prioritisation and effectively managing front to back delivery teams i.e. business, specialised functions (SMEs) and IT delivery. Experience in effectively managing relationships across the value chain. Experience in delivering multiple large-scale IT projects (from conception to delivery) simultaneously. Strong financial background and good technical / IT understanding.
Qualification & Experience:
- Post-Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistic, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business or IT an advantage.
- Honours Degree in Risk Management.
- Honours Degree in Information Technology.
