- Maintain standards and procedures regarding sub stations , repairs to high voltage equipment
- Provide and maintain safe environment with minimum risk to the health and safety of all employees in the section
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and installation of high voltage equipment and cables in the section
- Experience in winding plants, compressors, fans and conveyor belts will be advantageous
- Accountable for proper discipline in the section
- Perform standby duties when required
Job Requirements:
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
- Be a self-starter, self-motivated and result orientated
- Have good communication skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office
Qualification & Experience:
- Have at least 3 years’ experience as an Electrician
- Have medium voltage experience and certificate
- Be in possession of a relevant Trade Test Certificate
- Be in possession of Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Have shaft or winder experience
