Job Description:

- Perform all duties related to the position
- Effective self management in alignment with Sibanye Stillwater values
- Ensure effective utilization of equipment
- Assist to do basic repairs on equipment
- Bolter operators are responsible for the operation of a Bolter, for drilling and installation of ground support
- Achieve production targets through safe and effective operation of the Bolter
- Comply with company’s standards, policies, procedure and safety initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
- The incumbent will be required to work shifts
- Be in possession of a Grade 10 / Standard 8 / Equivalent NQF Level
- Be in possession of a Bolter Operator certificate / License (Certificate of Competency)
- Code B Drivers license
- Grade 12 / Standard 10 / N3 / Equivalent NQF Level
Qualification & Experience:
- Have experience in Production or Mining environment and basic development principles
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience of operating a roof bolter in a Trackless underground mining environment
- First Aid Certificate
- Competent A Certificate
