- Optimize the company’s ore resource
- Conduct numerical modelling of work areas
- Assist in min design and layout
- Implementation of a FOG accident prevention strategy
- Training and coaching of staff
- Design of layouts to establish stable infrastructure and mining excavations, minimise seismicity and undesirable fracturing.
- Optimizing of mining method and extraction sequences
- Design cost effective underground support systems
Qualification & Experience:
- Advanced Certificate in Rock Engineering
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering / Science or related discipline or equivalent
- Completed GDE course
- Experience in shallow and deep level tabular mining rock engineering applications
