Job Description:
- Provisioning of data in the AES (Analytical Ecosystem) to relevant stakeholder in a readable and understandable manner that talks to the OneStream dimensions and PowerBI modelling principles
- Provide in-depth data analysis to support the Finance data strategy and reporting requirements
- Update and maintain financial data models on SAP Power Designer to ensure data integrity and enable future projects
- Management of delivery support to business/OME’s in order to drive better, data-driven decision-making
- Ensure that data solutions are aligned with current and future requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Interrogate, analyse and clean up data in the AES for possible system development (e.g. asset, cost center and CO-PA data)
- Provisioning of data in AES to relevant stakeholder in a readable and understandable manner that integrates to the OneStream dimensions and PowerBI modelling principles
- Ensure that Finance data models remains fit-for-purpose as development is expanded
- Development, update and maintenance of PowerBI solutions
- Understand Sasol’s Digitalisation strategy and business requirements for data
- Ensure effective maintenance and updating of Finance data models on SAP Power Designer
- Manage and document development projects.
- Confirm and sign-off of the configured system before going live.
- Ensure that data model for ingestion into OneStream remains relevant, sound and up to date (e.g., 1HR, AES2.0 migration, modern
- ERP, IBP, structural changes, non-financial information)
- Design, develop and test functional products – proper testing of solution through entire test-cycle following sound governance.
- Confirm and sign-off systems testing results including data migration.
- Provide in-depth data analysis to support the Finance data strategy and reporting requirements and provide support to business/OMEs to drive better, data-driven decision-making
- To actively drive solutions in agile fashion – set-up of effective minimum viable product for the respective function.
Qualification & Experience:
- B-Degree
- 6 years relevant experience
