Job Description: To ensure effective management of own team members and service providers for electrical maintenance activities at Synfuels Water & Ash. As foreman you will be required to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Secunda Operations (SO) operates the world’s largest coal-to-liquids (CTL) facility and produces synthesis gas (syngas) through coal gasification and natural gas reforming, using Sasol’s unique and proprietary Fischer-Tropsch technology to manufacture synthetic fuel components, pipeline gas and chemical feedstock. [the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Participate in PDA (Potential Deviations Analysis), RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and risk assessment. Accountability of area of responsibility Take action on people performance problems, disciplinary and grievance cases. Work Management: Planning, control and management of maintenance activities. Enable artisans to achieve competence for career progression Provide input to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) for the plant. Ensure adherence to SHERQ legal standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001) and implement SHERQ processes for own area of responsibility Ensure, manage and control high quality maintenance Provide reports on budget, strategy, WMS (Works Management System), reliability and team performance. Manages performance of own team. Provide information and assist with projects with technical or resource support. Deliver on target deadlines (speed of implementation) Ensure effective compilation and execution of General Overhaul (GO) and Shutdown plans. Compile and conduct task risk assessment on team members Drive SHE target and live the SHE values Job Requirements: Execution and compilation of Quality Control Plans Practical experience of project management will be to your advantage Valid driver’s license RFA Fitness - This position requires pre-employment medical examination which includes a physical fitness assessment as part of the normal selection criteria Qualification & Experience: Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite Asset management experience will be to your advantage. Experience as Electrical artisan will be an advantage. Minimum of 5 years plant maintenance and operations experience NQF level 4 Artisan and Trade Test/ Red Seal (Must) Experience working with SAP will be an advantage. Prior experience as Electrical Foreman / Acting Foreman.
