Job Description:
Sappi Global Business Services requires a Procurement Specialist to support the Senior Procurement Manager oversee day to day operations of the purchasing department by ensuring cost effective, timeous and excellent quality in the purchasing of goods and services according to the Procurement Policies and Procedures. This position will also drive the development of detailed business requirements and coordinate the analysis, development, testing and deployment of business process and IT system improvements within Procurement.

- Assist procurement stakeholders with technical input in business case development. (SAP vs Metamorphosis) assist BPE with testing.
- Provide input into any Regional Procurement/GBS procedures and practices.
- Implement tactical procurement sourcing strategies for goods. Co-ordinate and manage the multi-disciplinary teams, across departments and assist in change management process where necessary.
- Provide assistance and training for suppliers with regard to system-to-system interface (Ariba, Fiori App).
- Coordinate continuous improvement of contract management and assure quality and standards for all SAP MM framework contracts and respective fixed source list allocations regarding central and local agreements.
- Provide Procurement Business Systems and Process Support.
- Manage a centralized Contract Management System for Procurement in SSA.
- Manage and coordinate the maintenance of Vendor and Material Master Data.
Job Requirements:
- Contract Management.
- SAP MM experience preferred.
Qualification & Experience:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma / NQF level 6-7.
- A minimum of 5-8 years Procurement experience in an Industrial Procurement or Materials Management environment.
- Experience in the technical and/or manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
