Job Description:
The Web Manager will be responsible for the management and improvement of the PCC’s website and Social Media and Zoom platforms. The role reports to the Head of Communications and works closely with the communications team to develop online strategies to increase the PCC public information and engagements footprint.

- Identify areas of improvement and new solutions for handling web related work
- Regular content and functionality updates
- Manage all digital media functions of integration with the comms team during event broadcasts
- Create strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.
- Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations, e.g. POPIA
- Act as the Online Meetings platform administrator for the PCC
- Ensure that all public events of the PCC are live streamed to the PCC Website
- Ensure that the PCC website is a high quality, secure platform, which is easy to use, has an accessible interface that captures all of the PCC’s activities, and enables stakeholders to easily engage with the PCC. This includes:
- Layout aesthetics and user interface (collaborate with designers to improve the usability),
- Ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy
- Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
Job Requirements:
- Innovator and Teamplayer who can work independently
- Sound cyber security knowledge
- Proven project management skills
- In-depth understanding of the entire website development process
- Up to date knowledge of content management, development tools and technologies, SEO principles and browser trends and updates.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
