Job Description:
The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) requires the services of qualified, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individuals to be incubated into a horticultural development programme aligned to SANBI’s career ladder for horticulturists.

- Plant Conservation and Collaboration
- Curation of Living Collections (dedicated collection to co-curate)
- Human Capital Development (own development)
- Horticultural Maintenance and Development (dedicated garden section to co-manage)
- Horticultural Research and Development (propagation trials etc)
Job Requirements:
The potential candidates must have either a National Diploma in Horticulture or Landscape Technology. B Tech degree / Advanced Diploma in Horticulture or Landscape Technology or Postgraduate Diploma in Horticulture or Landscape Technology will be an added advantage. Must be willing to work independently as well as in a team with a keen interest in conservation and ornamental display of indigenous flora. Applicants must be S.A Citizens and reside within the province in which the position will be based (attach proof of residence i.e. letter from the ward committee/ traditional authority or utility bill etc.).
