Job Description:
The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) requires the services of qualified, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individuals to be incubated into a nature conservation development programme.

Among other duties, the successful candidates will be expected to work under guidance of an Estate Manager performing the following key performing areas:
- Support and assist with law enforcement activities, such as patrol work
- Assist with Facilities Management
- Conduct and assist with environmental education activities
- Fire break planning and maintenance
- Update biodiversity checklists
- Assist with Risk Management, Health and Safety
- Alien invasive plants control
- Implement integrated waste management plan
- Supervision of estate or EPWP teams
Job Requirements:
The potential candidates must have National Diploma in Nature Conservation. B Tech degree / Advanced Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma in Nature Conservation will be an added advantage. Must be willing to work independently as well as in a team with a keen interest in conservation and estate management. Applicants must be S.A. Citizens and reside within the province in which the position will be based (attach proof of residence i.e. letter from the ward committee/ traditional authority or utility bill etc.).
