- To teach from undergraduate to postgraduate.
- To contribute to faculty administration as required
- Participate in faculty administration
- Facilitate the learning and teaching processes in the faculty
- Participate in academic engagement
- Conduct, publish and promote research
Job Requirements:
- Ability to develop teaching materials for the Method of Life Orientation/Life Skills and Educational Psychology
- A sound knowledge of various techniques for teaching Life Orientation/Life Skills in the B Ed: IP and PGCE
- A sound disciplinary and content knowledge in Life Orientation/Life Skills and Educational Psychology
- Teaching Method of Life Orientation/Life Skills to B Ed: IP and PGCE
- A sound knowledge of strategies for assessing learning in Life Orientation and Educational Psychology
Qualification & Experience:
- Five years relevant or related working experience (in school and higher education)
- At least four publications linked to Psychology and Education
- Being a registered Educational Psychologist will be an added advantage
- A relevant PhD (with Psychology and Education)
- Teaching Educational Psychology at honours level
