Job Description: The National Research Foundation (NRF) supports and promotes research and human capital development through funding, the provision of National Research Facilities and science outreach platforms and programmes to the broader community in all fields of science and technology, including natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and humanities. The Reviews and Evaluations (RE) Directorate is the custodian and driver for reviews and/or evaluations of: research and scholarship applications; researchers; funding instruments; and research divisions and institutions. [the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Identify and invite reviewers and panellists for RE reviews. Participate in institutional visitation to address review challenges. Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Plan, organise and coordinate review panel meetings. Provide accurate and timely information and data for periodic reports. Compile recommendations from the Review Panel members. Assist in the validation of outcomes of the technical screening of applications for reviews. Assisting in the identification, development, adaptation and implementation of business processes, documents and systems. Follow-up on recommendations of the Review Panel members. Assist in the on-going maintenance, improvement and management of business processes and systems. Report on RE activities and outcomes Job Requirements: Good interpersonal and client relations management skills. A 4-year degree (or equivalent) in the Natural Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences or Humanities. A Master·s degree will be an added advantage. Project management. Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite. Experience in peer review and process management. Strong business and professional writing and oral communication skills in English. A minimum of 3 years·experience in research administration or research management.
