Job Description:
An industry-leading automotive/ IT/ Internet organization located in Randburg is seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer on a permanent basis. The Lead Data Engineer will be required to take on technical leadership by delivering data engineering solutions and products across multiple teams. They have a hybrid working model.

Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in MS Azure, MS databases.
- Active working experience in Spark (PySpark, and Synapse).
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data processing as well as database product development.
- Experience in data product delivery from theory to production to maintenance, and further optimisation.
- Active working experience in Microsoft server OS (advanced), and Linux.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on working experience in Geo spatial and/or telemetry data concepts and analysis.
- Active working experience with large volumes of production data (Terra Bytes).
