Job Description:
Bradford Schools seeks to appoint a Part Time Afrikaans specialist teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will initially be required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week and will be remunerated per hour. The educator would be responsible for:

- Integration of technology in the classroom to enhance teaching.
- Being available if necessary, for adhoc meetings or other duties required by the school.
- Implementing effective and successful classroom management strategies using varied teaching styles, differentiation, active learning principles and positive discipline methodologies.
- Instilling a love of the language in the learners.
- Administering continuous assessments and observation to track learner progress and development across the Preparatory school from
- Foundation through to Intersen phase.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 -8 years subject specific experience in an IEB school.
- Be passionate, dynamic, caring and innovative and willing to go the extra mile.
- Be knowledgeable in current trends in Afrikaans education and understanding.
- Have a police clearance, sexual offenders and child protection services clearance certificate.
- Have a relevant teaching degree and SACE accreditation.
- Competency in IT- specifically Microsoft, One Note, Teams and Share Point.
- Be prepared to work according to the school ethos, values, specifications and policies
- Be highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Be able to engage with parents.
