Job Description:

Support the TSSSA organization with optimum solutions for the industrialisation of activities by evaluating the requirements of engineering, operations, support functions and customers leading to the development and implementation of solutions that maximize the tools, systems and resources.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Continuous Improvement activity on depot.
• Upkeep of painting/minor constructional activities directed by the Continuous Improvement Team
• Responsible for the attainment of Standard Operation documents and VMI reports to advise the maintenance team on maintenance activities and tooling requirements.
• Assist in the implementations of new concepts in both lineside and maintenance areas.
• Support the Continuous Improvement Team with developing layouts, maximising lean principles and implementing best practices.
• Identify any new training requirements required with storage/lineside constructional facilities and implement in accordance with Company trainers
• Adhere to HSE and Quality policies
• Continuous improvement of task executions
• Depot Industrialisation
• Train train the Operators
• Offer integral support to the maintenance team’s overall objectives.
• Support the Continuous Improvement Team with 5’s implementation by running kaizen events and implementing the objectives and support the management Team with constructional requirements
• Contribution to APSYS community (benchmark, audit, training)
• Adhere to target task time in compliance with Industrial & Project planning
• Provide constructional support across Gibela to the Continuous Improvement Team
• Provide lineside/storage 5’s/lean constructional support across to Gibela for special projects
• Continuous Improvement support to Autonomous Teams in the Depot
• Site main KPIs (QCD Commitments and EHS)

Job Requirements:

• Good understanding of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems is preferred
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• MS Office Literate ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Lean Methodology
• Must be able to work at all levels of the business from process owners to maintenance team members
• National Diploma or Degree: Industrial Engineering
• 3 to 5 years previous experience working as a Continuous Improvement professional working in a similar working environment
