Job Description: The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee all maintenance tasks performed by external contractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, accuracy, compliance and efficiency when delivering contracted maintenance services. [the_ad id="21943"] Job Responsibilities: Procuring and scheduling quality and reliable labour, parts, materials and equipment; Provide regular updates to stakeholders relating to the age, condition, status and return-to-service times of property, plant and equipment; Relationship building with vendors, suppliers and contractors; Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge. Attend regular site quality assurance meetings to monitor safety, progress and quality of work completed by the outsourced workforce. Coordinate supply chain lead times; Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and effectively resolve contract-related issues; Reducing asset downtime and minimise disruption to operations; Job Requirements: Willingness and capability to undertake regular travel throughout the Gauteng area and occasionally to other provinces. Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks. Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act and willingness to comply with its requirements. Valid Driver’s Licence. Qualification & Experience: Experience in the use of Microsoft Office including, but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and Powerpoint. Experience in supervising maintenance contractors including electrical, hydraulic, fire systems, HVAC & mechanical, plant & equipment, landscaping, finishing trades, vendors and suppliers. Trade qualifications highly desirable.
