Job Responsibilities:
- Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Updates maintenance and repair log sheet for vehicles.
- Assists mechanic with electrical systems such as replacing batteries, starters, and light.
- Cleans the workshop and returns tools to proper location.
- Helps mechanic perform maintenance and repairs such as tune-ups and oil changes, checks tires and brakes, replaces spark plugs and engages in other similar tasks
- Maintains inventory of replacement parts and equipment.
- Applicants are limited to apply for only one category.
- Applicants MUST NOT be active on the CoE HR System when programme commences
Job Requirements:
- Ability to communicate with communities.
- Working knowledge of the languages and dynamics of the City
- Interpersonal and Communication skills
- N2 in Mechanical Engineering/Motor Mechanics
- Ability to read and write
- South African Citizen.
- Resident of City of Ekurhuleni (specify Ward).
