Job Description:

An experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic development team. Working on product and project driven change across a number of technologies within a journey model, you will be responsible for rigorously testing new features and integrations as well as regression testing existing functionality, ensuring our products and services are fit for purpose and meet acceptance criteria. The role holder will have excellent test automation skills and will work under the guidance and support from the Senior and Lead Test Engineers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creation and maintenance of reusable automation test frameworks and building of automated test artifacts.
• Writing high-quality feature files using BDD syntax at a story or feature level.
• The Automation Test Engineer will participate in the Test Automation Community of Practice and contribute to best practice documentation.
• Responsible for ensuring all features and functions undergo system and system integration testing prior to release.
• Ensures Vitality’s testing standards are followed, and that test automation and regression packs are maintained.
• Actively removes blockers for test execution and escalates where needed.
• Collaborating with others with a “can do” attitude to review specifications and using these agreed specifications to test effectively and efficiently using the right standards and tools.
• Prepares test plans, progress reports and end of stage reports as required.
• Maintains a culture of agile working and continuous improvement across own business area, encouraging simplicity, efficiency, ownership, and accountability.
• Attends all Scrum Ceremonies required to actively contribute to the sprint cycle.
