Job Description:

  • To provide shared HR administration and payroll services to the business.
  • To oversee, manage and provide strategic direction to the members of the payroll team (including payroll officers and administrative assistants)

Job Requirements:

  • Planning, organising and coordination skills
  • 3 years managerial experience in a payroll environment
  • Extensive knowledge of VIP payroll (ideal)
  • Management skills
  • Communications Skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • 5-8 years within HR environment with particular focus on payroll and HR administration
  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • Other payroll related statutory requirements (i.e. UIF, BCEA, etc)
  • Employees tax
  • Employee benefits (pension, provident fund and medical aid)
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • A relevant degree in Commerce
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Human Resources
