Job Description:

We are currently looking for a motivated Specialist Financial Reporting in our Finance Department. The focus will be to ensure accurate, compliant reporting of consolidated financial data.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory reporting (interim and year-end)
• Ensure alignment of financial transactions and reporting with relevant statutory requirements
• Ensure compliance to financial reporting standards e.g. budgets
• Interpret and cascade financial accounting/reporting policy, standards, procedures and timetables
• Prepare ad-hoc, monthly and quarterly reporting
• Ensure accurate reporting of significant transactions in the financial statements (e.g. acquisition and disposal impact on cash flow, net debt and interest)
• Provide advice on financial reporting issues and standards

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience with analysis and benchmarking of financial/business data
• Demonstrated experience working within a team to deliver against set targets
• Solid experience in Financial Reporting
• Experience of consolidations and interim and year-end reporting
• Experience in the mining industry
• Track record in driving continuous improvement
