Job Responsibilities:

  • Create automated reports where appropriate to track and monitor results and/or quantify benefits associated with specific Strategic Initiatives.
  • Create systems to flag variance to plan; suggest advice to teams on course corrective action.
  • Support the design and implementation of the overall strategy to monitor the health of the Strategic Programme, including employee Change readiness, change fatigue, and employee buy in / advocacy for various change programmes.
  • Identification of strategic projects to ensure successful implementation of the approved business strategy.
  • Interact with Initiative Leads to define the right KPIs and tracking tools and systems to monitor the success of the implementation of initiatives, and track overall impact of Initiative on an on-going basis.
  • Preparation of board documents for submission to AASA board regarding strategy formulation.
  • Advise Initiative Leads on how to manage risks – provide guidance on course correction activities.
  • Interact with Initiative Teams to monitor risks and adherence to mitigation plans.
  • Compile assessment reports to Programme Management Office (PMO) Lead for updating the executive team.
  • Support the development of systems and processes to monitor and evaluate overall health of wider strategy.
  • Develop repeatable processes to monitor results of Initiatives once implemented.
  • Alignment with AAplc on group strategic drivers.
  • Establish strong links with Operations PMOs to track top 5 progress.
  • Gathering of market intelligence for consideration during the strategy cycle.
  • Provide first draft of monthly strategy implementation PMO report for the AASA team.
  • Preparation of materials for discussion during workshops.
  • Set up feedback loops in the form of committees, surveys and informal temperature check.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong related experience of which some should be in an analytical role (preferably in mining industry) including interacting with senior team members and evidence of an ability to manage multiple tasks in Business Analysis
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Relevant Bachelors/Undergraduate degree preferably Accounting / Engineering / Economics
